Apple 已經通知 MobileMe (前身為 .Mac) 會員，.Mac Groups 服務將會於 2009 年 7 月 7 日中止。自此日期起，所有 Groups 的功能 (包括群組電子郵件、群組首頁 HomePage、留言板、iDisk 的 "Groups" 檔案夾) 將無法使用。Apple 建議群組擁有者對群組的所屬成員發出此項變更的提醒。
在使用者的 iDisk 上，位於 "Groups" 檔案夾中的任何檔案將會被搬移至名為 "Groups Archive" 的新檔案夾，使用者仍可存取其 Groups 檔案。
