不少使用者已經在使用 Google Reader，而 Google Reader Notifier 則是可搭配使用的小工具，與我們先前介紹的 Google Notifier 類似，這個 Reader Notifier 會在選單列上顯示 Google Reader 中未讀的新聞項目，讓您無需開啟瀏覽器，即可得知帳號下的新聞訂閱狀態。
透過這個方便的選單，使用者可直接訂閱新聞頻道、檢查新文章、標記閱讀狀態，以及前往 Google Reader 頁面。
這個非官方的 Google Reader Notifier 也提供了不少設定，例如使用者可在偏好設定中設定檢查頻率、顯示未讀數目上限、growl 通知筆數...等等。如果您是 Google 產品的愛好者，這個 Notifier 亦可提升您的新聞閱讀體驗。
