Transmission 1.9 登場
Transmission 1.8 釋出不到一個月，開發團隊在今天則是釋出了新版本 1.9。新版本修復了不少 1.8x 版本中的程式問題，建議使用者進行更新。這款免費的 BitTorrent 軟體，訴求輕巧但實用，透過簡單且直覺的界面，讓使用者輕鬆地使用與進行檔案傳輸。
就 Mac 適用的版本而言，新版本可在檢閱器的追蹤器與 peer 標籤頁中，顯示所有傳輸作業的資訊，同時訊息日誌也新增了篩選條件，此外還修復了一些現有的程式問題：
Display information for all selected transfers in the inspector's tracker and peer tabs Add a filter to the message log Fix potential crash when updating the blocklist Fix bug that caused the speed limit scheduler to not be applied after sleep Remove excessive file selection for the per-torrent action menu Smaller interface tweaks

Transmission 1.0 是在 2008 年一月份推出的，整個程式的界面經過重新調整，使用了 Leopard 樣式的外觀，另可使用群組標籤、過濾及排序。相較於其他需要付費或效能不佳的同類軟體來說，Transmission 算是十分不錯的檔案傳輸與 BitTorrent 分享程式。
