Apple 推出 27 吋、四核心處理器新 iMac
Apple® 今天推出全新 iMac® 產品線，標榜亮麗的 LED 背光照明 21.5 吋與 27 吋寬螢幕顯示器，採用精細的亮面設計與一體成形的鋁質機殼。新款 iMac 產品線是有史以來最快的機種，配備 3.06 GHz 起的 Intel Core 2 Duo 處理器以及 Core i5 與 i7 四核心處理器，提供雙倍的效能。每台新 iMac 出貨時都隨附無線鍵盤與全新的無線 Magic Mouse，這個滑鼠是全世界第一個內建多重觸控技術 Multi-Touch™ 的滑鼠，與 iPhone®、iPod® 及 Mac® 筆記型電腦觸控式軌跡板類似。
新款 iMac 令人驚豔的 LED 背光顯示器，提供 16:9 的畫面比例，十分適合觀賞高解析度的影片。21.5 吋 iMac 具備解析度達 1920 x 1080 像素的顯示器 (Full HD 解析度)。27 吋 iMac 則具備漂亮 2560 x 1440 像素的顯示器，比前一個 24 吋的型號，提供超過 60% 的像素數。而 21.5 吋與 27 吋的顯示器皆使用 IPS 技術，可跨超廣角 178 度的檢視角度，提供一致的畫面與色彩呈現。
iMac 新機器改善了一系列的圖形表現，包括 21.5 吋型號 NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 整合顯示卡或 ATI Radeon HD 4670 獨立顯示卡，以及 27 吋型號 ATI Radeon HD 4670 獨立顯示卡或 ATI Radeon HD 4850 獨立顯示卡。新款 iMac 產品線現在也具備 4GB 的 1066 MHz DDR3 記憶體，且最多可透過 4 個 SO-DIMM 插槽擴充到 16GB。
