QuickTime 必備：Perian 1.1.1 更新
在 2007 年 6 月正式推出的 QuickTime 外掛模組 Perian，近日釋出了新版本 1.1.1；這個輔助元件可以讓您透過 QuickTime Player 來播放以下各類型的媒體內容，並且支援 SSA 與 SRT 字幕：
AVI, FLV 和 MKV 檔案格式 MS-MPEG4 v1 & v2, DivX, 3ivX, H.264, FLV1, FSV1, VP6, H263I, VP3, HuffYUV, FFVHuff, MPEG1 & MPEG2 Video, Fraps, Windows Media Audio v1 & v2, Flash ADPCM, Xiph Vorbis (in Matroska), MPEG Layer II Audio AVI 支援：AAC, AC3 Audio, H.264, MPEG4 和 VBR MP3
可直接在“系統偏好設定”中進行版本更新
別以為 x.x.1 的版本更新沒什麼看頭，此次的更新修復了 AVI 視訊 H.264 的問題、另亦支援一些 anamorphic AVI 檔案、改善字元集的偵測功能，並且加入了新的視訊解編碼器。
