Ars Technica 搶先預覽了 NetNewsWire 這個 RSS 軟體的 iPhone 版本：
Brent has taken a spartan—and smart, in our opinion—approach to leveraging the advantages of the iPhone to build what some might call a satellite interface to your NetNewsWire (or to be more specific, NewsGator) subscriptions.
開發人員並未將此軟體本來的完整功能放入 iPhone 版的 NetNewsWire，使用者將無法從 iPhone 手動新增 feed 或執行一些複雜的操作，如搜尋、過濾等等，反倒是透過與 NewsGator 連接的方式，取得 feed 和訂閱資料。若您對此軟體有興趣的話，將來應該可在 App Store 中取得。
