Transmission 這套在 Mac 輕巧且迅速的 BitTorrent 軟體推出更新版本，新版本 1.2 現在的系統要求為 Mac OS X 10.4.11 (已安裝 Security Update 2008-002)，開發人員則建議使用 10.5 或更新的作業系統；此外，在新版本中，加入了封鎖列表的功能，可讓使用者阻擋某些惡意 IP。
