Apple 從未忘記過 Mac OS X 10.3.9 "Panther" 的使用者。Apple 在釋出 Mac OS X 10.4.11 更新項目的同一天，也一併釋出適用於 Mac OS X 10.3.9 "Panther" 的安全性更新。

Security Update 2007-008 is recommended for all users and improves the security of the following components:

AppleRAID
bind
CoreFoundation
Flash Player Plug-in
Foundation

Security Update 2007-007 has been incorporated into this security update.

Mac OS X 10.3.9 更新項目之前是在 2005 年 4 月 16 日釋出，也就是推出 Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" 的前兩週。
