OS X 內建的獨立下載程式？

Verified Downloads？？這個下載視窗看起來似乎與 Safari 的下載項目視窗雷同。macosxhints 在這篇文章中提到了這個系統上獨立的下載程式 VerifiedDownloadAgent，您可以直接將下載項目的網址拖到此視窗中，也可拷貝下載網址、然後在此視窗貼上，使用方式與 Safari 的下載項目視窗相同。

此下載工具的位置位於 /System/Library/CoreServices，如果您平常慣用的瀏覽器並非 Safari，但又希望有個簡單、方便的下載工具，則可考慮這個下載工具。您也可以暫停、下載後直接打開檔案的所在位置...等等。如果您有興趣，翻翻您電腦中的 CoreServices 檔案夾...

*VerifiedDownloadAgent 並非為 Universal Binary 程式。

看來有三種情形，懷舊的 PPC 版本、接棒的 UB 版本，還有什麼都沒有版本～～ :-)
沒錯，我仍是使用 PPC-based Mac，看來 Intel-based Mac 上的是 UB 版本囉～～
