船長 FTP 4.5 更新

Captain FTP

不，這不是神鬼奇航裡的船長 Jack Sparrow。這是船長專用 Captain FTP 4.5 的更新，主要是修正臭蟲的問題。版本號不變，但為 7 July 2006 build。

The Mac Observer 提到了一些變更事項：

Xnet Communications has issued Captain FTP 4.5, an update that fixes a number of bugs, including private key generation for SFTP, the inability of auto transfers to automatically start, occasional crashes during startup, and more.

這是個共享程式 (美金 25 元)

已經很久沒用船長FTP了，不過對於船長能夠直接讓遠端的兩台FTP伺服器傳輸檔案，我印象非常深刻。 就是說，可以一次登入兩台FTP伺服器， A 和 B ，然後直接把 A 的檔案拉到 B 的視窗中，這樣檔案就傳過去了！

If you have SSH access, it would be easier to just log in one and sftp to another. Direct "server-to-server" transfer is usually available in most other FTP clients, including Fetch. However, most server disabled such feature as it is usually being abused.
