MacBook Air and MacBook Pro updated, USB 3.0 ports!

During today’s WWDC 2012 Keynote, Apple updated MacBook Air with the latest Intel Core processors, faster graphics and flash storage that is up to twice as fast as the previous generation. New 13- and 15-inches MacBook Pro also features the latest Intel Core i5 or i7 and up to quad-core processors.
MacBook Air 2012
The new MacBook Air (11-inch and 13-inch designs) is features the latest Core i5 and Core i7 dual-core processors, new integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 which is up to 60 percent faster, new FaceTime HD camera supports HD 720p.
MacBook Pro
The 13-inch MacBook Pro features the latest Intel Core i5 or Core i7 dual-core processors up to 2.9 GHz with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.6 GHz. The 15-inch MacBook Pro features the latest Intel Core i7 quad-core processors up to 2.7 GHz with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.7 GHz and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M discrete graphics. Both the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro can be configured with a 1TB hard drive or SSDs up to 512GB that are up to twice as fast as the previous generation. 閱讀更多內容

13 吋 MacBook Air 拆解

Apple 最新的 MacBook Air 剛推出，iFixit 就已經迫不及待地開始拆解，把這台新機器拆成 12 塊，雖然新 MacBook Air 與去年十月推出的上一代在外觀上沒有太大差異，但內部仍是必須做一些更動，以便加入背光鍵盤、Bluetooth 4.0 和 Thunderbolt 等模組。

Shifting to integrated graphics on the processor freed up a lot of room on the board—enough for Apple to add the sizeable Thunderbolt-capable PCH.

看來 Sandy Bridge 的 GPU 騰出了空間給 Thuderbolt 用。

11 吋與 13 吋 MacBook Air 搭載最新 Intel 處理器 Core i5 與 i7。速度高達 1.8GHz 與快速記憶體，讓全新 MacBook Air 的處理效能較之前高達 2.5 倍。
