iPhone 4S 三日銷售超過 4 百萬支
Apple® today announced it has sold over four million of its new iPhone® 4S, just three days after its launch on October 14. In addition, more than 25 million customers are already using iOS 5, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, in the first five days of its release, and more than 20 million customers have signed up for iCloud®
Apple 的新聞稿提到，iPhone 4S 在 10 月 14 日開始販售後，三天已突破四百萬支，而這僅是首波供貨的七個國家，在 10 月 28 日會另有 22 個國家開始銷售，到年底時會有超過 70 個國家或地區都買得到 iPhone 4S。
此外，超過兩千五百萬的用戶已經在使用 iOS 5，而兩千萬用戶也已申請 iCloud。
10 月 12 日起漫步雲端 iCloud
iCloud 於今年六月的 WWDC 上現身之後，在這次的 Let's Talk iPhone 發表會上也有了正式的啟用日期，同樣是 10 月 12 日。此外 Apple 也介紹了新的應用程式 Find My Friends (尋找我的朋友)，讓你可以輕鬆和親朋好友搭上線。
iCloud 取代了以往的 MobileMe 服務，提供線上資料中心供你存放郵件、聯絡資訊、行事曆、音樂、電視節目、購買的應用程式和書籍、照片、文件以及備份等等，iCloud 將提供使用者免費的 @me.com 電子郵件位址和 5GB 的免費儲存空間，而 iTunes Match 訂閱服務目前將只適用於美國。其他相關內容可以參考我們的舊文。
新的應用程式 Find My Friends (尋找我的朋友) 讓你透過地理位置的資訊與同伴聯繫，使用者可取用地理資訊並安排一個聚會活動。
iOS 5，我們 10 月 12 日見
在美西時間週二的發表會上，Apple 宣布下一版行動作業裝置 iOS 5 將在 10 月 12 日問世，這個作業系統將適用於 iPhone、iPad 和 iPod touch。
Apple 首次介紹 iOS 5 是在今年六月的 WWDC 上，這次的 Let’s Talk iPhone 發表會提到了新的通知中心、iMessage 在 iOS 和裝置之間的傳訊服務、Reminders 提醒事項應用程式、整合 Twitter、整理和管理 iOS 雜誌訂閱的 Newsstand 書報攤應用程式、現有程式 (如相機、Safari、郵件) 的各項更新，以及無線設定與同步的功能等等。
基本上，介紹的內容與上回的 WWDC 內容並沒有太多的差異。
Let’s Talk iPhone 發表會線上影片
Apple 發佈了台北時間昨晚凌晨 Let's Talk iPhone 發表會的影片，有興趣的朋友可以瞧瞧 Tim Cook 的講演方式是不是跟 Steve Jobs 有什麼不同。
在發表會上，Apple 介紹了新機 iPhone 4S，主要的改變除了硬體規格外，還包含全新的語音控制技術；另外 Apple 也宣布 iOS 5 與 iCloud 將在 10 月 12 日啟用，另外還有一些 iPod nano 和 iPod touch 產品線的升級。
